In 2005, two area United Ways (Georgetown
Area United Way and United Way of Greater Williamson County) merged, resulting in a streamlined organization
even better equipped to serve the citizens of Williamson County — from Taylor to Hutto, Georgetown,
Round Rock, Jarrell and the 183 Corridor (including Cedar Park and Liberty Hill).
United Way of Williamson County's premise is simple: we
take care of the individuals and families in our community.
Whether partnering with
local nonprofits that run efficient, effective programs benefiting the health
and wellness of all who live in Williamson County ...
or mobilizing community resources during disasters and emergencies of a national
or regional scope ...
or providing access to multiple services
during tragedies that don't make headlines — those
that unexpectedly affect your family or friends ...
united way of williamson county is YOUR united way — and we're here to help.
