United Way of Williamson County announces 2012-2013 Community Investment Grants Funding Process

The goal of United Way of Williamson County is to partner with the community to create long-lasting changes that prevent problems from happening in the first place. By focusing on the building blocks of a good life – education, income and health – we believe we can inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow for all those living in Williamson County.

To this end, the Board of Directors of United Way of Williamson County has established Impact Goals in three focus areas: education, income and health. These Goals can be found in Section B of the application documents and will serve as the guiding principles throughout the 2012-2013 Community Investment Grants funding process. Funding requests must align with one or more of these Impact Goals and serve the residents of Williamson County. Interested parties should carefully review the application documents to determine whether your program or project will help achieve one or more of the Impact Goals.

To start the process, you will need to submit a Letter of Intent Outline for each program or project for which you seek funding. The required components and submission guidelines of the Letter of Intent are detailed here. The Letter of Intent deadline is Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 5 p.m.
