Meet the Staff


LeAnn Powers, Chief Professional Officer
LeAnn Powers was appointed Chief Professional Officer of United Way of Williamson County in May of 2009 after serving one year as the organization’s Community Impact Director. Drawing on more than 20 years of nonprofit experience, she works to lead UWWC toward advancing the common good in the areas of education, income and health throughout Williamson County. Over her career, LeAnn has guided several nonprofit organizations in establishing effective fundraising programs. LeAnn enjoys the “people” part of her job – being out in the community and creating relationships with individuals, businesses and community leaders. A long-time Round Rock resident, LeAnn spends every available minute with her husband, children, and 2 ½ year old grandson.

Ramona Urbanek, Office Manager
Ramona Urbanek joined United Way of Williamson County in 2002 as a temporary Administrative Assistant. In 2003, she became a permanent employee and in 2006 was promoted to Office Manager. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day functions of the office, Ramona is the first line of contact when you call or visit the office. In her spare time, Ramona enjoys outdoor nature activities including gardening, photography, and volunteering. She is the proud owner of two dogs, two cats, two birds and a fish. Cathy Harlow, Finance Associate
Cathy is relatively new to the non-profit world having only worked at UWWC for 2+ years. She loves "number crunching" and especially enjoys the small office work environment and working with wonderful ladies. Cathy is the mother of five and grandmother of eight.
