Our work in EDUCATION


Education is the cornerstone of individual and community success. It’s essential to getting and keeping a job with a livable wage and health benefits. And it’s fundamental to a community’s economic prosperity: a well-educated workforce attracts world-class jobs.



The goal for our efforts in this area:

Helping children and youth achieve their potential through education

Our focus will be:

» Improving access to quality, affordable child care and early learning opportunities
» Partnering with schools and parents to improve graduation rates
» Providing after-school and mentoring programs for at-risk youth

Annunciation Maternity Home
This agency is a free full service home for young women (age 14 and up) who are in crisis pregnancies. Long-term care begins when the woman arrives and ends only when she and her baby have a safe environment in which to return.
