We all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable, and when people are healthy.
By combining efforts, generous donors, volunteers and advocates throughout Williamson County are changing lives for the better. In just one year,
- 19,145 individuals and 4,534 were served by local food pantries.
- 13,500 meals were delivered by Meals on Wheels to elderly and homebound clients.
- 2,252 low-income and elderly clients had their taxes prepared at 8 Free Tax Preparation Sites in Williamson County. This amounted to a savings of $450,000 in tax preparation fees, over $1.1 million dollars was received in Earned Income Tax Credits, and $3.6 million in refunds for these clients.
- 1,798 elementary and secondary students participated in mentoring programs funded by donors to United Way of Williamson County.
- 434 clients received preventative counseling for survivors of family & sexual violence.
- 414 clients participated in financial literacy programs.
- 389 students and their families participated in a truancy prevention program designed to help students stay in school.
