United Way of Williamson County is pleased to announce that the grant application process for the 2016-2017 fiscal year is now open.
This annual application process is open to registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations that provide services in Williamson County that are culturally sensitive and barrier free, and offer programs that help achieve United Way of Williamson County's Community Impact Goals. Funding requests must align with at least one of the outcomes identified in the application documents.
Grants are a minimum of $10,000 and will not exceed $40,000 per agency. Contracts for funding will begin July 1, 2016 and end June 30, 2017. Grants will be for one year only.
Interested organizations should submit a Letter of Intent application for each program or project for which funding is requested. Required components and submission guidelines for the Letter of Intent are detailed in the application documents.
Community volunteers will review the Letters of Intent during the month of February and will announce the applicants advancing on to the full Community Impact Grant application on February 24, 2016.
Deadline for submission is Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 5 p.m.
The entire Letter of Intent application packet will be submitted electronically via email as a .pdf to firstname.lastname@example.org. Receipt of the Letter of Intent application packet will be the day & time that the email is received, not the day & time that it is sent from the applicant. No late applications will be accepted.
Two information sessions will be held for organizations interested in learning how to submit a successful application. Attendance is optional and not required. First time applicants and previous grant recipients are encouraged to attend.
Information sessions will be held January 8, 2016, 9:00-10:00 a.m. or January 13, 2016, 2:00-3:00 p.m.
