“A good education is the ladder we give our children to reach their dreams. Every Texas student deserves to have access to the best education possible.” - First Lady Cecilia Abbott at the United Way of Williamson County Education Summit

Held on October 1, 2015, the summit brought together almost 200 educators, subject matter experts, lawmakers and business and nonprofit leaders to consider ways the community can address the implications of rapid growth in our schools. It was another important step in helping the community look at the impact and implications of rapid population growth and changes in Williamson county.
