Round Rock ISD United Way Campaign
For many years, United Way of Williamson County and Round Rock ISD have come together to improve lives and strengthen our community.
Together, we fight for the health, education and financial stability of Round Rock ISD students, staff and their families. Together, we are changing lives.
Since 2010, United Way of Williamson County has invested more than $260,000 in grants and funding for programs specifically helping students in Round Rock ISD.
Here are just a few examples of how donations and grants to United Way of Williamson County have directly benefited RRISD over the years:
- $100,000 for STARS Mentoring staff
- $45,000 for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Program for future students of Bluebonnet, Berkman, Robertson, Voigt and Forest North Elementary Schools, and children of young parents attending Success High School.
- $20,000 in funding for Girls Scouts of Central Texas Gamma Sigma Program at Stoney Point HS
- $110,000 in grants to Round Rock Partners in Education Foundation for the development of mentoring curriculum and ASPIRE program support from 2012 - 2014.
Additionally, many of our partner agencies such as the Round Rock Area Serving Center, Breast Cancer Resource Center, Hope Alliance, and others provide important social services to students' families and RRISD employees.
