United Way of Williamson County and the Georgetown Health Foundation have come together to provide low-cost, high-quality training for nonprofits serving the residents of Williamson County.
Strategic Leadership Academy
In its pilot year, this by-invitation-only Leadership Academy is a comprehensive, top quality educational program designed to equip Williamson County nonprofit executive leaders in their efforts to become more effective and strategic in their work. More than basic training, this academy will help growing organizations take their mission to the next level.
Nonprofits 101: Board Service Intro Course
This new training initiative is designed to equip new and future Williamson County nonprofit leaders with the essential principals and best practices that every nonprofit board member should know. This course consists of eight 1.5 hour classes. Course participation is only open to Williamson County residents at least 25 years old. The classes will be held January through May in a restaurant at a central Round Rock location during Friday at lunch.
Interested individuals should complete a short online application by December 15.
