United Way of Williamson County seeks projects from local nonprofits
for county-wide 2008 DAY OF ACTION

On June 21, 2008, United Way of Williamson County (UWWC) volunteers from across the county will venture out to serve our community. This Day of Action will raise critical awareness and ultimately brighten the future for everyone in Williamson County. Your nonprofit organization can capitalize on their efforts!

We are looking for excellent, creative projects for the June 21st Day of Action. This could be a day of manual labor, but it could also be much more! Your organization could lead a training, an enrollment, a march. Raise awareness about your mission and ways in which we can all LIVE UNITED.

NONPROFITS ... In a one-page proposal, highlight your mission and the specifics of the project you have in mind. … (How many volunteers would be optimal? … What would they do? )

UWWC is offering stipends of up to $250 for selected projects. In your proposal, let us know how you would spend that money. Describe the community impact of your proposal.

Send proposals to info@unitedway-wc.org. DEADLINE: MAY 10, 2008.

Let's make June 21st, the Summer Solstice, memorable not only for its hours of sunshine, but also for shining a light across our county.
